One day in February 2015 the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the PyongyangCosmetics Factory.
Going round various places of the factory, he clearlyindicated the issues arising in improving the quality of cosmetics and ways forresolving them. Then he dropped in at the sci-tech learning space.
At the room, several workers, who had finished theirshift, were listening to an online lecture through computers.
Watching them with satisfaction, he learned about theoperation of the sci-tech learning space.
He also learned about the connection of the computernetwork. And seeing a computer screen through which an employee was attendingthe online lecture, he expressed satisfaction, saying that now it becamecommonplace to set up a sci-tech learning space and normalize its operation inany place.
At the sample room, he stressed the need for theofficials and workers to fully display their competitive spirit with a highambition and steadily improve their level of scientific and technologicalknowledge and technical skills. In other words, it is necessary to modernizethe brains of people while modernizing the factory, he emphasized.
