One day in November 2016, the respected General SecretaryKim Jong Un visited the SamjiyonSchoolchildren’s Palace.
Looking around different places of the palace, he showedwarm affection for schoolchildren.
At the gymnasium, the General Secretary said that if theindoor temperature was low, the children might catch a cold and earnestlyinstructed officials to ensure the indoor temperature of the gymnasium at over15℃.
The officials felt a lump in their throat at the way he tookso meticulous care of the sports group members lest their health should get badeven a bit.
His love for the schoolchildren was endless.
Later, that day, he mentioned the floor of the gymnasiumagain, saying that children might be injured while exercising on such a floor.He would send rubber flooring to cover the floor of the gymnasium, he kindly said.
Many officials had previously neglected the indoortemperature and floor of the gym, but for the respected General Secretary whovalues and loves children most, calling them the masters of future Korea, theindoor temperature and floor of the gym mattered greatly.
