One day in November 2021, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Phothae-dong, Samjiyon City.
The dwelling houses and public buildings newly built against the background of Mt Phothae went well with the surrounding scenery.
Feasting his eyes on the new houses from a pavilion, he said that the houses looked very nice and asked an official if the old houses were all pulled down.
The official replied that they were all demolished and all the residents were provided with newly built houses, adding that positive feedback was coming from them.
Hearing him out, Kim Jong Un said: This can be called a sea change. I was told that the citizens of Samjiyon said with delight they had a better understanding of the meaning of sea change. This is just the general evaluation of the reconstruction of the city.
He added: If it is liked by the people, it is good but, if not, it is not good. It is the revolution to transform the world beyond recognition like this. This is the pride we take in making strenuous efforts and waging the revolution day and night. I am most pleased when the people are satisfied. I am more than happy.
