Workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea met with winners of the Communist Mother Honour Prize at the Central Hall of Workers on March 5 in the run-up to the 116th anniversary of March 8 International Women's Day.
Present there were officials of the Central Committee of the GFTUK and workers, trade union officials and members in Pyongyang.
The winners made speeches at the meeting.
They said that while dedicating themselves to the education of the rising generation for the future of the country, they always taught their own children to invariably follow the road of loyalty and patriotism.
They said that they brought up their children to be the honest persons who devote themselves to the prosperity of the country, always feeling grateful for the care of the socialist system from childhood.
They ardently called on all the mothers to make tangible contributions to the sacred cause for the prosperity of the country by doing their best in carrying out their duty for their families and society.
