There took place a gala evening of youth and students in Pyongyang and a firework display on April 15 to celebrate the 114th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung .
The gala evening began with the song “We Sing of Our Motherland under Our Leader’s Guidance” at Kim Il Sung Square.
The participants danced, extending their best wishes for the immortality to President Kim Il Sung , who devoted his all to the sacred cause for the country and the people and laid a foundation for the prosperity for all generations to come.
The dance continued along with the playing of song “Looks of Korea” and other songs reflecting the high enthusiasm of the young vanguard to glorify the precious name of the patriotic youth.
When “Dear Father,” a monumental hymn reflecting the reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un , resounded in the sky of the capital city, the atmosphere of the gala evening was revved up.
The sound of fireworks shook the ground like the stamina of the advancing young vanguard and the night of beautiful Pyongyang was colourfully decorated with sparks.
Looking at the sparks with pleasure, the participants in the gala evening and the crowds were convinced that their future would be rosier and more beautiful under the wise guidance of the Workers’ Party of Korea which is translating the people’s dreams and ideals into a brilliant reality.
Dance parties of youth and students were held in provincial seats and cities and counties on the same day.
