Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited the April 22 Thaechon Pig Farm of the Air and Anti-Air Force of the Korean People's Army.
Going round various places of the farm, he learned in detail about its construction, management and operation.
Noting a combined production system was well established to conduct management activities on the basis of comprehensive analysis and appraisal of management information, backed by real-time monitoring and automatic control of all production processes, he said that the production processes have been put on a high scientific, IT and automated basis.
Patriotism was displayed while building the farm to secure a big proportion of locally available equipment, which helps take great pride in ours and have confidence that we can be well off by doing our own way, he said, praising the KPA for taking the lead in implementing the Party policy on realizing domestic production.
He set forth tasks facing the farm.
Praising the farm as an icon stockbreeding base of the country, he expressed great satisfaction over the construction of another supply base conducive to improving the diet of the KPA pilots.
He highly praised the commanding officers and soldiers of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force for successfully building an icon farm of the new century as intended by the Party.
After expressing expectation and belief that the officials and employees of the farm would produce and supply more pork and processed pork to the pilots, he had a photo taken with them.
Accompanying him were KPA Vice Marshal Hwang Pyong So, director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, Army General So Hong Chan, first vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, Colonel General of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force Kim Kwang Hyok, commander of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force, and Colonel General of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force Son Chol Ju, commissar of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force. -0-
