The following happened in early August Juche 102 (2013),
when Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un inspected the construction site of the Mirim Riding Club again.
Being guided around the site, he pointed to the importance of the project in glorifying Chairman Kim Jong Il’s leadership exploits and providing the people with a cultured environment for their living. He specified tasks to be tackled in building it into a world-class facility-laying out perfectly the room for preserving the revolutionary relics associated with the Chairman’s exploits, vividly decorating the outer walls with natural materials to suit the design of the log-patterned buildings under construction, laying out sand courses for the convenience of riders, covering the floor of the indoor training area with a thick layer of sawdust, and building a new training area in a circular shape.
Hours passed and his clothes were soaked with sweat under the burning sun of midsummer.
Officials in his company grew so anxious about his health. One of them reassured him that they would work harder to improve the quality of construction, requesting him to care about his health as wished by the people across the country.
The leader said that even in the hot season he must do what he had to do for the sake of the people.
Then he set out on another trip for inspection.
