Anniversary of Meeting between President Kim Il Sung and H.E. Seyed Ali Khamenei Observed

A meeting to mark the 30th anniversary of the meeting between President Kim Il Sung and Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, was held at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on Monday on the occasion of the DPRK-Iran friendship week.
Present there on invitation were Seyed Mohsen Emadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the DPRK, and his Embassy officials.
On hand were Pak Kyong Il, Vice-Chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, officials concerned and working people in Pyongyang.
Pak Kyong Il and Seyed Mohsen Emadi made speeches at the reception.
The speakers said that the meeting and talks between Kim Il Sung and Seyed Ali Khamenei served as a historic event which laid the foundation for wide-ranging bilateral relations in various fields including politics, economy and culture.
The speakers said they would make positive efforts to expand and strengthen the friendly and cooperative relations on a new high level as desired by the peoples of two countries to make independent development free from interference of foreign forces.
