The Natural Science Institute under the University of Sciences is well known for making lots of valuable sci-tech research findings.
In the past, its researchers actively introduced the decision making system, contributing to stepping up the country’s economic growth, and informatizing weather forecast. They also developed bio-chemicals which stimulate the growth of crops and are effective in exterminating harmful insects and additives to fish feed to apply them into the fisheries and fish farming sectors.
Many scientists of the institute have presented over 50 papers on issues of worldwide concern in such SCI-class international scientific journals as “The Journal of Grey System”, “International Journal of Science and Research”, “Topology and its Applications” and “Fractals”.
Valuable papers presented by them were highly appreciated at the international competitions of mathematicians and international seminars held in various countries and regions, including China and Russia. The institute has also undertaken joint research with universities and research institutions in China, Germany and other countries.
Many of its researchers have been awarded PhDs, February 16 Science and Technology Prize, top prize in the field of science and technology, and academic degrees and titles. Among them are Ri Song Il, who is active as a critic of the international mathematics journal, and Han Kun Sop, one of the world’s top six prestigious scientists in the sector of estimating the accuracy of protein structure models.
The researchers are now working on finding solutions to the pending issues in such sectors as mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.
“The world is made up of infinite time and space, creating lots of problems to be solved. We will redouble our efforts to explore the unknown world as required by the developing times,” said Prof. and Dr. Kim Gol, deputy director of the institute and Merited Scientist.
