As he looked round different places at the Ryuwon Footwear Factory in January 2015, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un highly praised the factory for having made a great deal of successes in implementing the Party’s policy of diversifying the production of shoes in kind, form and colour.
After learning in detail about the development of new products, he said that the satisfactory supply of quality consumer goods is not simply an economic and technical matter, but an important affair to value and defend our own things and demonstrate the advantages of our social system.
He added that the factory should put production on a normal track and raise the quality of products on a constant basis so that people could practically benefit from them.
Officials, by keeping in their minds the responsibility and duty they assume on behalf of the people, should work out a correct strategy for bringing about an upswing in the production of consumer goods and make selfless, devoted efforts to implement it in the van, he stressed.
