There took place army-people rallies in all provinces and Nampho, Kaesong and Rason cities from January 19 to 21 to extend the greatest glory to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un upon his election as the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and to vow to thoroughly implement the decision made at the 8th Congress of the WPK.
The rallies were attended by officials of local Party and power organs, working people's organizations, industrial establishments and cooperative farms and working people and officers and men of the Korean People's Army and the Public Security Forces.
Keynote addresses were made to be followed by speeches there.
Speakers extended the greatest glory and the warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un upon his election as the general secretary of the WPK at its 8th Congress in reflection of the unanimous will and desire of all the Party members, service personnel and other people.
They stressed the need to thoroughly carry out the fighting program given by the 8th Congress of the WPK and bring about progress and development of the Korean-style socialism under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of the General Secretary.
Letters of pledge to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the rallies.
