In March Juche 64 (1975), Pak Yong Sun who had won a world table tennis championship presented a bunch of flowers to Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Wearing a broad smile on his face, he appreciated the efforts of her, who was carried away with excitement, praised her success and encouraged her to win again in the future.
And then, he told her to try on the crown and belt which she won for dominating the world event.
The Chairman looked at her, who was wearing the crown, belt and gold medal and held the cup in her hand, for a while with great pleasure and had a photograph taken with her.
Later, Pak Yong Sun met President Kim Il Sung and had a photo taken with him and was honoured with the title of Labour Hero.
