During his visit to a rural village in Onchon County in August several decades ago, President Kim Il Sung dropped in on a nursery to acquaint himself with problems in detail.
He suddenly asked an official if the children there were supplied with milk.
He answered that they were not fed with milk. Feeling very unsatisfied with the answer, the President suddenly asked him about the number of carts, draught cattle including cows, small tractors and the area of farmland in the ri.
Deep in thought for a while after listening to the answer, he said that draught cattle should be replaced with small tractors to transform them into dairy cattle.
He personally calculated the quantity of milk produced by a cow and consumed by the children, adding that eight Jonjin tractors should be sent to the ri.
