The U.S. is Feathering Its Nest by Instigating Tragic Conflict

Date: 14/05/2022 | Source: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EN) | Read original version at source

A few days ago, U.S. Secretary of State and other high-ranking officials, on their junket to Ukraine, said that what the Ukrainian army needs right now is weaponry they are long familiar with, i.e. AK-47 automatic rifles and T-72 tanks along with modern weaponry of the West.

At present, American munitions enterprises are said to have received orders from the U.S. Defense Department for weapons and ammunitions of former Soviet Union type, and are actively engaged in transactions to purchase them from munitions factories in several Eastern European countries to send them to Ukraine.

What the U.S. is aimed at is to hoard weaponry of former Soviet Union type in the hands of NATO member states in Eastern Europe, and to send them to Ukraine so as to reduce them to mere scrap of iron engendering bloodshed on the battlefields, and to compensate shortage of weapons of Eastern European countries with armament of the U.S. make.

In other words, the U.S. is trying to kill two birds with one stone; it is trying to prolong the proxy war with Russia as long as possible and to exhaust Russia to the full by sending more inexpensive weapons to Ukraine under the pretext of “aid”. At the same time, it is trying to make NATO member states in Eastern Europe purchase expensive American weaponry so that American munitions enterprises batten on them.

It is no coincidence that world media is sharply denouncing the ulterior motive of the U.S. who, despite many countries’ wish for an early solution to the Ukrainian crisis, is seeking to prolong it to gain excessive profits.

The U.S. will certainly pay a dear price for its criminal deed of feathering its nest by inciting a tragic conflict between nations and countries, and aggravating regional situation by dragging its allies into it, without shedding a drop of blood of its own.
