Japan is scheming to resume the evacuation drill all over the country from late September in simulation of ballistic missile launch by the DPRK.

It is a well-known fact that Japan has so far shown morbid reaction, giving a shrill cry whenever we took measures for bolstering self-defense capabilities as if a nuclear warhead has dropped in the middle of Tokyo.

Under the pretext of ensuring the preparedness against our missile attack, Japan made a fuss, deploying interceptor missiles constantly in the government compound by mobilizing citizens who had been absorbed in their occupations. Besides, it released “false reports” on missile launch to incite an atmosphere of confrontation with us from time to time.

As Japan has an inveterate habit of seeking its own interests by picking on others, it has used the “threats” as many times as the licorice in pharmacy in realizing its ambition for overseas invasion.

After “Meiji Restoration” in 1868, Japan which had fostered a wild ambition for realizing the “theory on conquest of Korea” annexed Korea as its colony, clamoring about the threats from the Qing Dynasty and Czarist Russia, and made frantic attempts to conquer the Asian Continent, taking advantage of World War II.

Even after its defeat, it took the Korean and Vietnam wars as good opportunities for high rate growth and rearmament, and with the Cold War over, it paved the way for overseas troop dispatch under the veil of the “war on terror” of the US.

In 2015 alone, Japan revised the “Japan-US Defense Cooperation Guidelines” to provide the legal framework for stretching out its aggressive tentacles to the Korean peninsula. Besides, it has avowedly clamored for automatic intervention of the “Self-Defense Forces” in case of emergency.

With the Ukrainian crisis as a momentum, Japan is now getting more overheated than before in preparations for re-invasion, magnifying the “rumor of threats from neighbors”.

It is scheming to revise its defence strategy and adopt the possession of capability for preemptive strike as a state policy. To this end, it is giving spurs to sharp increase in defence expenditure as well as to the development of offensive military equipment.

Particularly, the Japanese authorities are making frantic attempt to turn Japan into a country that can fight a war by revising the current constitution without missing the golden opportunity in which the forces in favor of constitutional amendment have taken control of the House of Representatives and the House of Councilors.

Japan is now attempting once again to raise a fuss about evacuation based on the simulated ballistic missile launch by our country. It is a manifestation of its sinister intention to justify its preparations for re-invasion by inciting the hostile feelings toward the DPRK and security crisis consciousness among its people.

It would be the wisest thing for Japan to stop the act of bringing danger on itself under the pretext of life safety of its people.
