President Kim Il Sung visited the then Pyongyang Textile Mill on May 5 1959. After looking round the interior of the mill, he came to see that workers were playing a basketball game on his way to the outside. Wearing a bright smile as he saw the game, he told officials it was very good for workers to do sports during the break.
When he had seen a sports game of workers of the mill one day a year ago, he went to the basketball court as he saw workers doing sports activities vigorously. At the court, he approached a worker holding the ball in his hands and said affectionately that sports make people healthy.
At his affectionate saying, officials and workers were deeply moved.
