On April 20 2014, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Songdowon International Children’s Camp, which was nearing completion.
Feasting his eyes on the renovated camp for a while, he said with a broad smile on his face that even children in Pyongyang would envy the camp.
After looking round every place of the camp for hours, he said in great satisfaction that the Songdowon International Children’s Camp is a dandyish structure reflecting the view on younger generations of the Workers’ Party and a hotel and palace for children which can be found nowhere else in the world.
Describing it as a world-class camp furnished with all things needed to make schoolchildren acquire ample knowledge, cultivate noble moral traits and build physical fitness, he proudly said that his analysis of data on foreign children’s camps shows there is no better children’s camp than the Songdowon International Children’s Camp which is equipped with all conditions in a comprehensive way.
