“Counter-Terrorism” by the U.S. Military is Civilian Killings

Recently, Washington Post and The Hill carried articles, saying that the U.S. military killed a civilian, contrary to its claim that it has killed an Al Qaeda leader in their “counter-terrorist operation” in Syria.

On May 3, the U.S. Central Command announced they launched a drone assault to have removed Al Qaeda leader.

However, senior officials of the U.S. Department of Defense confessed before the press that they can no longer be assured of the death of the Al Qaeda leader, while hesitating to confirm it.

According to the findings by Washington Post , the man killed by the drone assault was a kind and diligent 56-year-old man with 10 children to feed, a common Syrian civilian.

The analysis provided by four experts in counter-terrorism also confirmed that that man does not have any link with terrorist organization.

In consequence, the U.S. military killed an innocent civilian by attacking a private house and the neighborhood of chicken farm with drones.

The families and relatives of the killed by the U.S. army expressed their indignation, saying that those who paint the victim as the terrorist are all liars. The local residents are also unanimously saying that the killed had no connection with the terrorist organization at all.

For such reasons, the U.S. military authorities are retracting on the sly their assertion that they got rid of the terrorist in Syria.

The U.S. Central Command announced that it is giving a serious consideration to all the claims in the news report that the counter-terrorist operation by the U.S. military resulted in killing the Syrian civilian and that it is now conducting investigation into what kind of damage the civilian has suffered by the attack.

Biden administration persists in its attempt to cover up the air raids which killed innocent civilians including the drone attack in Afghanistan in August 2021 where they murdered 10 civilians including 7 children.

This shows that the “counter-terrorism” clamored by the U.S. is, in essence, a war of killing civilians.
