Among the products favoured by customers at the International Trade Fair-2023 held some days ago were Hukjinju -brand beauty aids.
The Hukjinju -brand skincare products including facial massage cream, lotion, soap and facial mask are multi-functional and multi-purpose cosmetics with such effects as treatment and prevention of skin diseases, anti-aging, whitening and excretion of heavy metals as well as maintenance of healthy and beautiful complexion.
Their main components are extracted and separated from the sulphur mud of Kwangryang Bay.
Son Ryon Hwa, developer of the products and director of the “Hukjinju” beauty aid production company, said that she got interested in the sulphur mud of Kwangryang Bay in the West Sea of Korea, which contains more than 80 kinds of macro- and microelements including essential amino acids, vitamins and organic matters, some ten years ago, and developed and produced beauty soaps and lotions using the mud, which received positive customer feedback.
So she further intensified research and finally brought out a variety of beauty aids.
The products were popular not only at home but also at international expos and shows.
They have been presented at several international expos, including the beauty expo held in Dalian of China, in 2013.
The “method of fermenting sulfur mud and its use” applied to the production of Hukjinju -brand beauty aids was awarded a patent certificate of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
The study on the characteristics of Hukjinju -brand beauty aids took the first place at the national sci-tech achievements presentation and exhibition in the cosmetics industry sector held in October.
The company also provides beauty treatment and medical treatment services using sulphur mud.
“It is our desire to further develop the company into a business that combines production and service and to keep everyone’s skin as clean as a white gem, always refreshing, soft, moisturizing and smooth,” said Son.
