On September 13, Juche 68(1979), Chairman Kim Jong Il looked round theChanggwang Health Complex under construction on the banks of the Pothong River.
After looking at the interior of theswimming pool for a while, he said with great satisfaction that the swimmingpool was constructed well and the building was very large.
He wore a bright smile all the way forthe delight of being able to provide the people with another excellent sportsand cultural service facility.
As he looked at the spectators’ seats atthe swimming pool, he asked an official how many seats were there.
Hearing his answer, the leader said thatthe number of seats was small and told him to increase them.
An official said that seats could beincreased by raising the tiers, but that would obstruct the windows.
Then the leader said that even if thewindows were obstructed, it would be all right when the swimming pool wasilluminated, adding that all the spectators coming to see swimming contestsshould be allowed to see them on seats, not on their feet.
As seen above, even the seat of theswimming pool of the Changgwang Health Complex is associated with his warm lovefor the people.
