Every human being wishes to live in a decent house as it is a warm place of love and happiness for the family.

Home is not a mere requisite for existence of a human being. It is the most basic index of a social being as it tells one’s address and place of residence. Hence, the housing has been presented as a serious financial matter within a society or even worse, a political issue all over the world, irrespective of the times and places.

One country, however, has fulfilled the people’s long-cherished desire for homes which the rest of the world has yet to satisfy. And this, in turn, has made the whole country reverberate with song and dance and hurrah.

In April each year, people are happy and excited about the Housewarming Season – a recent coinage in our country.

The leader congratulates in person the ordinary workers moving into new modern dwellings provided by the Party and the state, and the people are shouting “hurrah” on their tiptoes to have at least a glimpse of their leader who devotes his all for them; tears are rolling down their cheeks – tears of gratitude rather than joy of having received wonderful dwellings free of charge; they wouldn’t be able to afford such flats in other countries as they cost a colossal sum of money. Such a moving scene is touching the hearts of the world peoples.

That is why foreign newspapers and websites vie each other to carry articles on the socialist Korea. They express their candid views, saying that in the DPRK, you can always see such spectacular scenes as workers cheerfully moving into new houses; it is incredulous that such luxurious homes costing millions in USD are allocated free to the ordinary workers; wise leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Un brought the world-startling reality to the DPRK.

Simply incredible.

Having set the people’s happy laughter as the absolute criterion for national power, the leader devotes his all to provide the people with the highest form of civilization and wellbeing, personally going through tens of thousands of building designs and also visiting construction sites even on windy days. Never before has the world heard of such a story that the people’s loud cheers and hurrahs are echoes of the epical love of the leader for them.

Some other foreign news media have also carried commentaries on the astonishing reality of the DPRK.

“In the West, working people are struck dumb and helpless by state policies and their governments do not even bother to repair single-roomed houses, only raising house rent. But on the other side of the globe, something remarkable is happening.”

Of course, there are rows of luxurious homes in “advanced” capitalist countries, too.

However, in those countries, working people cannot dream of owning such luxurious homes as they cannot afford the rent. The heavy and sad sighs of those who are not even counted as residents but as mere dwellers without address, living in tent settlements or on the street never seem to end.

Hurrah and sigh; a person who truly values justice and conscience can easily judge what should be aspired after and what should be condemned by comparing these two extremes of public sentiment.

The laughter of the people heard from each household in the socialist Korea is a splendid symphony of happiness and joy sung only by the Korean people enjoying a blessed life under the care of a great leader and a benevolent Party.
