The Pyongyang Jonghyang Building-materials Factory is working to apply advanced standards to the production of paints.
It has conducted a scientific and theoretical analysis of the information of standards about excellent paint products in the relevant period, and introduced some to meet its actual conditions.
Jong Ryong Su, manager of the factory, said that their products are used for green architecture and dry construction, adding that they are popular among customers.
The factory gives priority to the analysis of foreign paints’ standards in an effort to improve production methods and technical indices of paints.
Such analysis enables it to grasp not only the advanced technologies applied to the products but their specifications, advantages and problems arising in the production and to better its production methods and technical indices.
Some of its products, such as permeable stone antiseptic and compound waterproof paint, have obtained local patents.
More than 10 kinds of building-materials including inorganic heat insulator, anticorrosive paint and metallic paint have been registered as February 2 Product, an honour dedicated to the best local products.
A variety of high-quality building-materials produced by the factory have been used for such construction projects as the May Day Stadium, the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and Ryomyong Street.
The demand for the factory’s products is on the increase.
