On his four-day visit to the DPRK in May Juche 63 (1974), the then Senegalese President was very busy: he toured various places in the daytime and avidly read President Kim Il Sung ’s works in the study of his lodging at night.
When he was to return home wrapping up his visit, he asked a relevant official to help him bring home all the works in his lodging.
After being told about it, President Kim Il Sung said that rather than bringing all the books, it would be better to know first what kind of books he would need and then send the books he asked.
On his farewell visit to Kim Il Sung , the Senegalese President said that he had read works written by Kim Il Sung so far, but he did not fully understand them because he read them occasionally, so back home he would systematically do with them.
He added he would not read the works alone, but let his colleagues and all of his fellow young people study them.
His remarks showed his tremendous admiration for the greatness of Kim Il Sung endowed with extraordinary ideological and theoretical wisdom.
