Choe Son Hui, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received on October 6 a message of congratulations from Wang Yi, Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, on the occasion of the 75 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
In the message, he noted that the China-DPRK relations have steadily developed in depth and achieved big successes in exchange and cooperation in all fields for 75 years.
He said that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between China and the DPRK have entered a new historic period and are on a stable track of development under the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Kim Jong Un in recent years.
Saying it is the steadfast policy of the Chinese Party and government to successfully defend, consolidate and develop the China-DPRK relations, he expressed the willingness to promote a greater development of the China-DPRK relations in line with the important common understanding reached by the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries and the common desire of the two peoples.
