The Habiro Hermitage is a small temple belonging to the Pohyon Temple in Mt Myohyang in the central part of the Myohyang Mountains in northwest Korea.
It consists of the main hall, and the Poryon, Chilsong and Sansin pavilions, etc.
The Poryon Pavilion had been on the top of a high mound opposite the hermitage before it was destructed by flooding in 1915. The present one was rebuilt in the current place.
The date of the hermitage’s construction is uncertain, but the historical records suggest that it was built before the 17th century.
The present one was renovated in 1882.
It is well preserved as a building of national value along with Pohyon Temple in Mt Myohyang.
