One March day the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un talked about Chairman Kim Jong Il with officials with deep yearning for him.
After a while he changed the topic to the construction of the Munsu Water Park.
The officials were dragged into what he was saying because they knew the project was already planned by the Chairman a long time before.
As he went on, a look of surprise fell on their faces.
It was because he said that the water park should be built into a comprehensive aquatic amusement park equipped with outdoor facilities and El Dorado-style indoor facilities.
In fact, the concept of the “comprehensive aquatic amusement park” was as complex as it could be, to say nothing of the relevant facilities such as water pool, diving tower, water slide and high-pressure shower.
For the park it was needed to build a variety of pools including artificial sea pool, warm water pool and wave pool and arrange artificial hills and waterfalls around them so that visitors could feel as if they swam in natural environment. There should be even a pool for medical treatment equipped with massage devices.
It seemed to be possible to provide manpower for the project, but the biggest problem was to raise the fund to purchase all the facilities.
The officials thought it was probably financially infeasible now that many other state projects were under way.
To their bewilderment, however, Kim Jong Un referred to the colossal amount of money needed to build the El Dorado-style indoor facilities.
To their greater surprise, he went on to say that he intended to spend much more on the project and that the El Dorado-style indoor section should embrace wading pool and all other necessary facilities.
This showed his calculating method of sparing nothing for a thing devoted to the wellbeing and amusement of the people.
