Established in November 2004 and located in Mundok County, South Phyongan Province, the Chongnam Joint Venture Company engages in garment making.
It runs four factories with flowline production lines. Putting the technical preparation process on a scientific footing is one of priorities for the company.
It keeps abreast of the trend of global garment market and fashion and distributes advanced technical data on garment designing and making and achievements among all its affiliates. Also, it has established a strict system of inspection of every process and finished goods and enhanced quality while introducing new computer programs in practice.
In parallel, it makes constant efforts to modernize equipment and control quality under a scientific and technical development objective.
Recently, it has updated the equipment for various processes including duck feather feeding and introduced modern facilities including laser cutter, which helped the company increase production with lower cost.
As a result, its scope of business has grown three times more than that in its inception days and it has been recognized as a creditworthy company in the international market.
It also adopts new fashion designs into production. Director Yu Tong Chol said that his company will widen cooperation and exchange with foreign countries to increase its yearly order and production.
