Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), arrived in Beijing, the capital city of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), by his private train in the afternoon of September 2 to participate in the celebrations of the 80 th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
Beijing was filled with the warmest feelings of friendship and an enthusiastic welcoming atmosphere to greet Comrade Kim Jong Un who is visiting the PRC with friendly feelings towards the Chinese people.
Honor guards of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army lined up in the yard of the Beijing Railway Station.
Seen at the station were Comrade Cai Qi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Member of the Secretariat and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, Comrade Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Comrade Yin Yong, Mayor of Beijing, and other senior officials of the Chinese Party and government, and Comrade Wang Yajun, Ambassador of the PRC to the DPRK, who came there to welcome Comrade Kim Jong Un .
Also present there were Comrade Ri Ryong Nam, DPRK Ambassador to the PRC, and his embassy officials.
Comrade Kim Jong Un met the leading officials of the Chinese Party and government and exchanged pleasant greetings after getting off his private train.
Leading officials of China warmly welcomed Comrade Kim Jong Un .
Saying that he was pleased to visit the PRC again after six years, he expressed thanks to Comrade Xi Jinping, the Chinese Party, government and people for their enthusiastic and warm hospitality.
