Meetings took place in Bulgaria and Switzerland and lectures, round-table talks and film shows in Germany, Romania and the Czech Republic on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Present at the events were political and public figures and members of the organizations for the study of Juche idea and for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people in the given countries.
Screened at the film shows were Korean documentaries and video programs showing the brilliant history of socialist Korea which has won victories with self-reliance and the indomitable fighting spirit of the Korean people.
Speakers at the events said that the great leader Kim Il Sung waged the 20-year-long anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle to accomplish the cause of Korea's liberation and founded the DPRK on September 9, 1948.
They stressed that the DPRK is now advancing vigorously along the road of socialism, fully displaying its might as a world military power under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
A message of greetings to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting held in Switzerland.
