The Workers’ Party of Korea has set a high goal of building a socialist paradise where the people enjoy the highest level of civilization and live a comfortable and harmonious life, and is striving to attain the goal.
It always directs primary attention to the work for defending the peace of the people.
It is well evidenced by the fact that it safeguarded the people’s lives and health from the recent worldwide health crisis, led an air rescue operation last year to save the flood victims in the dangerous place affected by heavy rainstorm, and adopted a decision to remove damage in flood-stricken areas at an early date and had new wonderful houses built for the victims in those areas in a matter of several months.
The Party defined it as its policy to provide all the children in the country with nutritious foodstuffs including dairy products on a regular basis, and it is dynamically pushing ahead with the work to build advanced public health facilities to reliably guarantee the people’s health.
The Party regards it as its supreme desire to improve the wellbeing of the people as early as possible.
Monumental structures have been built in the capital city of Pyongyang and other parts of the country, leading the people to a new life and a new civilization.
The past ten or so years have seen many wonderful cultural and leisure bases springing up for the people. They include the Rungna People’s Recreation Ground, Munsu Water Park, Masikryong Ski Resort, Mirim Riding Club and Yangdok Hot Spring Resort.
The Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area, which was inaugurated in June, is an exemplary entity which gives another glimpse of the level of socialist civilization which is developing under the leadership of the WPK.
The reality in which new entities of wellbeing welcomed by the people are being created one after another across the country is a result of the people-oriented leadership of the Party which sets ever-high goals for the good of the people and splendidly attains them without fail.
