Third, the theory of the comprehensive socialist development is characterized by the sustainability of the overall rejuvenation that is achieved with change and progress in ideology and consciousness.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said, “Even an egg, when charged with ideology, can break a rock.”

In the new era of comprehensive socialist development the DPRK has seen a remarkably positive change in the ideological and spiritual aspects of all the members of its society and a steady boost in their revolutionary enthusiasm and fighting spirit.

The forces hostile towards the DPRK are still leaving no stone unturned to tarnish the image of the latter’s socialist system. They are afraid that it advances towards comprehensive development and overall rejuvenation.

For example, a research institute of a country hostile towards the DPRK released a full-length study in late March 2022, which is entitled “The meaning and suggestion of the DPRK’s theory of comprehensive socialist development.”

I found out an interesting paragraph in the study, which reads:

“The theory of the comprehensive socialist development is meaningful as it is a line on balanced development that corrects the existing line on imbalanced development. As the complete victory of socialism and the building of communism have revived to be the goal of the revolution, there is some concern that the theory may become both the ‘Party’s idea’ and ‘ Kim Jong Un ’s idea.’ In particular, though untimely, it may be needed to reshape the awareness of our society with regard to the system in the DPRK after the Cold War as its movement of the rural reform proceeds in the future. …”

This flatly tells that the hostile forces do not entirely want the DPRK to thrive and, furthermore, they most fear that Korean society is modelled on “ Kim Jong Un ’s idea.”

In this sense, the incessant cycle of groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies held up and down the country can be considered an outright contempt for and heavy blow to the hostile forces.

Today, given that it has entered a new era of comprehensive socialist development, the DPRK’s future will be decided by what kind of idea the Korean youth shouldering the future are armed with and how much positive change is brought to their ideological consciousness. In a word, only when they are firmly armed with Kim Jong Un ’s revolutionary idea, will they be able to cultivate unrivalled courage and mettle to raise their country’s position as a political and military power and achieve a rapid, sustainable economic growth and a brilliant socialist cultural development by dint of their resourceful wisdom and diligence.

The current world order is so confused, and the people in many countries are plagued by war and economic recession.

In contrast, greeting the new era of comprehensive socialist development, the DPRK is dynamically advancing towards a rosy future.

Evidently, the competition for ascendancy in national power has never ceased among countries in the world and everyone knows the law of the jungle still prevails in the international order.

The DPRK boasts unity in ideology, a national strength unique to it, which is an all-mighty treasured sword that works a heroic miracle when applied to battlefields and helps boost productivity when applied to economic construction.

The heroic Korean people will remain united in single mind to demonstrate the dignity and prestige of the powerful nation of Kim Jong Un before the world, and surely build a country of the people, a country which develops in a comprehensive and sustainable manner, in the foreseeable future.
