There is a cosy clinic in Wira-ri which is a dozen kilometres away from Suan County Town, North Hwanghae Province.
The medical workers of the clinic give emergency cases collective diagnosis and treatment and attend technical courses on latest medical science through the telemedicine system. In the course of this, they improve their ability and qualifications to provide timely treatment to patients and the preventive and curative medical service as well, thus making a positive contribution to the promotion of the health of residents. As the clinic is equipped with sophisticated medical facilities, it provides quality medical service to them.
An old native of the village said, “As our village is far away from the county town, patients worried about treatment in the past. However, since the establishment of the telemedicine system, we have been able to receive treatment in the ri clinic from proficient medical workers in central hospitals as well as county and provincial hospitals.”
