The textile industry sector is raising the fierce flames of creating new norms and records.
According to an official of the Ministry of Light Industry, textile mills in different parts of the country are registering a high daily output with a goal to produce more fabrics than the last year.
More than a hundred weavers at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill have carried out their plan for the first quarter of the year, and the number is on the increase with each passing day.
In the past not a few of them always took the lead in carrying out their quotas, but they are now creating new records.
Meanwhile, the textile mill is effectively operating the sci-tech learning space and the technical study session at the worksite, and introducing valuable proposals for technical innovation raised by employees into practice so as to operate equipment at a higher rate.
As a result, it has finished the production of cloth for school uniforms and bags in a short span of time, and is building on the success in production.
The Sinuiju Textile Mill has applied a rational method of operating looms arranged in different places and an efficient piecing method to increase production, and updated the drying device of the dyeing equipment to enhance the dyeing capacity and save a lot of electricity.
The Kusong Textile Mill has improved the efficiency of production by remodelling warping and other equipment, while the Sariwon Textile Mill and the September Textile Mill are increasing the quality of products and productivity while sharing and transferring experiences and techniques.
