The people across the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea ushering in a new heyday of socialist construction through vigorous exertion and inexhaustible patriotic struggle under the leadership of the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea significantly greeted the international holiday of the working people of the whole world.
Senior Party and government officials visited various industrial establishments seething with the drive for increased production to successfully attain the goal for this year, the final year of the five-year plan, on May 1 to congratulate the working people on the holiday.
Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other senior Party and government officials and officials of the Party and power organs at all levels spent a pleasant time together with the working people at the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex, the Chollima Steel Complex, the State Academy of Sciences, the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, the Sangwon Cement Complex, the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex, the Kangdong Combined Greenhouse Farm, the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, the construction site of 10 000 flats at the fourth stage in the Hwasong area, etc.
Senior Party and the government officials met and encouraged the innovators who are in the vanguard of working miracles and achieving feats to greet the 80th founding anniversary of the Party with proud labour achievements.
They watched colourful sports and amusement games together with the working people.
