The DPRK is growing stronger in the fierce confrontation between socialism and anti-socialism.

The country is steering the cause of mankind for independence and now vigorously ushering in a new era of comprehensive development of socialism, overwhelmingly smashing the all-round offensive of the imperialists to stifle it.

It has become a beacon of hope for mankind aspiring to independence and justice and a symbol of victory of socialism. Seeing the changing reality of the country, the progressive people of the world are confident of the bright future of socialism.

As clear evidence of this, a growing number of political parties have signed the historic Pyongyang Declaration in recent years.

At a symposium on building a new society, many political parties of the world called for strengthening the unity and solidarity of the anti-imperialist independent force to cope with the imperialists’ moves for aggression. And at the 22nd international conference of communist and workers’ parties, a declaration was adopted calling upon the countries aspiring to progressive development to pool their efforts to intensify the anti-imperialist struggle and open the way for building socialist society. The developments prove that the progressive forces aspiring to socialism are growing and expanding day by day.

The imperialist reactionary forces are resorting to every possible means and method to maintain the existing predatory ruling structure.

Recently, the US-led Western forces are further fanning the ongoing war in Europe out of a sinister attempt to establish domination over the region, while unhesitatingly carrying out military intervention and invasion of many Middle Eastern countries. The Western forces pursue tough policies to stamp out the sovereignty of other countries and hold sway over them. This gives rise to social unrest and bloodshed around the world. On the other hand, they are impudently interfering in the internal affairs of those countries desirous of independent development and imposing economic sanctions against them in a bid to put them under their control.

Nevertheless, any desperate and tricky method cannot check the advance of the times.

It is the main trend of the current international situation to reject imperialist domination and high-handed practices and opt to build a fair and just multipolar world. Many countries are standing against the imperialist hegemonic policy through expanded multilateral and reciprocal cooperation with other countries, while achieving independent development free from the West’s domination and interference.

The reality eloquently proves that no matter how desperately the imperialists may try to maintain their old hegemonic order, they can never reverse the trend of the times towards independence and justice.

The anti-imperialist independent force is, indeed, an entity of powerful strength overpowering imperialism and a powerful driving force propelling the struggle to build an independent and just new world.

Nothing can help the declining imperialism get out of its miserable fate, and the dynamic struggle of progressive mankind to build an independent and peaceful new world will surely bear a brilliant fruit.
