Local authorities are making vigorous efforts to build or renovate colleges for teachers training and agriculture.
Kangwon Province is concentrating efforts on the construction of Wonsan Ri Su Dok Teachers Training College in a bid to complete the project within this year.
South Hamgyong Province finished the framework building of Hamhung Choe Hui Suk Teachers Training College, and is concentrating efforts on the construction of structures.
With the construction of Chongjin O Jung Hup University of Education, Kanggye University of Education, Hyesan Teachers Training College and Sinuiju Cha Kwang Su University of Education being promoted, relevant provinces are giving priority to the supply of manpower and materials in order to step up the projects as scheduled.
Preparations are also made to construct building No. 4 and dormitory No. 5 at Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, and to rebuild Kim Chol Ju University of Education.
A high goal was set to complete the designs for building or renovating several colleges of agriculture and finish their projects next year.
At present, the construction of a library and gym at Chongjin College of Agriculture and a gym at Wonsan University of Agriculture is going on a full scale.
Several colleges of agriculture in the stage of designing work on securing in advance cement, steel and other materials needed for the projects.
Relevant provinces are taking positive measures to push forward construction, while directing primary efforts to supplying manpower and materials.
