Construction for the people should be continued!

This is what the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said one October day in Juche 102 (2013) when he visited the Mirim Riding Club before its inauguration.

Making the rounds of the modern riding club, he expressed great satisfaction over its wonderful scenery. This year we have done a lot of construction, building many modern edifices conducive to the improvement of the people’s cultural and emotional life and their wellbeing, he said, adding that those projects which would have taken a few years in the past were completed in a year.

He said that his mind was always on what he would do else for the simple, diligent and revolutionary people, expressing his unshakable will to continue the construction for them.

In retrospect, many structures have mushroomed for the sake of the people thanks to the boundless love and devotion of Kim Jong Un , who puts his heart and soul into providing them with the most valuable assets, always eager to give them more and more.

It can be seen through Changjon Street, Unha Scientists Street, Munsu Water Park, Rungna People’s Recreation Ground, Masikryong Ski Resort, Okryu Children’s Hospital, Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital, Sci-Tech Complex, Mirae Scientists Street, Ryomyong Street, Yangdok Hot Spring Resort, Samjiyon City, Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District, Songhwa Street, Hwasong Street, Rimhung Street, etc.

The structures are associated with the firm will of Kim Jong Un that construction projects in which people have their real interests and which are directly related to their life should be pushed forward vigorously without fail, even though other projects might be adjusted.

The construction of 10 000 flats in the Songhwa area of Pyongyang, which was completed two years ago, was a gigantic project as the challenges and difficulties were harsher than ever before and the circumstances were completely different from when the project for Ryomyong Street started; moreover, the workload was many times that of the latter and the construction period was shorter. However, it could be successfully completed thanks to the noble intention, will and meticulous guidance of Kim Jong Un , who made a bold decision to push ahead with it unconditionally as it was directly related with the living of the citizens and as it was an important political undertaking of the first year for implementing the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

When visiting the Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital, he said that it was his desire to build it into the world’s advanced-level hospital for the people, that it was just what he wanted to do for them, and that one of his wishes has come true with the construction of the wonderful hospital conducive to the promotion of public health. And at the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort, he said a ski resort should be built there so that people could go skiing in daytime and enjoy a hot bath in the evening, suggesting a new project for the people.

Great wealth for the people is being built one after another on this land thanks to his boundless love for the people and his insatiable desire for devotion to them.
