People often visit the Rungna Water Park in July and August.
The Rungna Water Park on the bank of the picturesque Taedong River is equipped with water slides, diving tower and various kinds of public service amenities.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave meticulous guidance to the construction of the Rungna Water Park so as to provide the people with better cultural and living conditions.
He looked round the water park before its inauguration on July 24, Juche 101(2012).
Looking at a water slide, he said a light sensing device should be installed at the slide for a reasonable system that can signal the next person to start when a person went down almost to the bottom.

"The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave us some tasks while giving field guidance to our water park, which make us feel how much he was concerned about the lives and safety of the people.
He stressed the need to check well the joints of the water slides lest the people should be injured while using them.
He also underscored the need to put about five life floats on standby by the diving tower in order to save the drowning people, and set up a stand for keeping watch on the wide area of the water park and an emergency treatment room to take first-aid measures."
This is how the lookout and the room for first-aid treatment came into being at the Rungna Water Park.
