One day in February 2014, therespected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Baby Home andPyongyang Orphanage.
As he dropped in at the playroomof the Pyongyang Orphanage that day, he tenderly said that he heard itschildren would give a performance on the stage of the playroom and he wanted tolisten to their songs.
The children took the stage andbegan to sing the song “Thank you, Marshal Kim Jong Un” to theaccompaniment of an accordion played by a teacher.
When the song reached therefrain, the eyes of the children, who spent days and months with yearning forthe respected Marshal, werefull of tears.
He could hardly repress strongpassion as he saw them. He said earnestly that looking at the parentlesschildren singing the song in a sonorous voice, he hardened his mind to take goodcare of the orphaned children so that no dark shadow would loom over theirbright faces.
When the song ended, the childrenthrew themselves in his arms, calling him “Father!”
Tears gathered in his eyes ashe held them in his arms.
After a while, he told the officialsthat those children longed for parental affection most.
The officials were moved to tears as they looked up to him whowas reading even the mind of the orphanedchildren. He said to them that parentalaffection should be given to those children so that they could always live witha bright smile free from the sorrow of having no parents and that he wouldpersonally take charge of the work of baby homes and orphanages.
His boundless paternal lovetouched all the officials very deeply.
