Thatday he watched the demonstration from the beginning to the end, clapping his hands beforeothers whenever the figure skaters performed skilfulmovements andrepeatedly praising them for their good performance. Afterthe demonstration was over, hegave his thanks to the figure skaters.
But no one ever imagined that it wouldbe the last performance they gave in his presence.
The following year, there unfoldedan impressive scene of conveying gifts associated with the affection of theChairman to the figure skaters on the threshold of lunar New Year’s Day.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un madesure that thefigure skates of the highest quality wereprepared and sent to the skaters in the name of the Chairman, withoutforgetting thepromise theChairman had made to send them the best figure skates.
The skates associated with the warmaffection of the Chairman became the wingsof love which put the skaters on the winners’ podium.
The DPRKplayers exalted the honour of the country by winning gold medals at the AsianOpen Figure Skating Trophy 2016 and the MeranoCup 2016.
