It happened one day in October2015, when the respected General Secretary
KimJong Un looked round the solid fermentation section of the fermentedfeed processing ground at the Pyongyang Catfish Farm, which had turnedinto a model and standard one in the fish farming sector of the country.
While carefully watching feedbeing carried on the conveyor belt from the fermentation section to the nextprocess, theGeneral Secretary affectionately asked an official of the factory ifthey had made it by themselves.
Then the official flushed and awkwardlyanswered that the conveyor was carrying fermented vegetable materials to the combinedfeed processing ground and that the conveyor was not so good as they had made itby themselves.
Looking fondly at the official, theGeneral Secretary said that such equipment our workers made by themselves isbetter than that bearing a foreign trademark, adding that the equipment is a creationof self-reliance of the factory’s workers.
A creation of self-reliance!
Looking up to the benevolent image of theGeneral Secretary looking at the production process for a while with a broadsmile on his face, all officials inwardly vowed, “We will create anything only ofour own by relying on our own strength and technology true to your noble intention.”
