One day in July 2012, the respectedGeneral Secretary Kim Jong Unvisited the Rungna People’s Recreation Ground nearing completion.
Looking at the panoramic view ofthe Minigolf Course reminiscent of a fairytale world for a while, he made hisway to a circular chair fixed under a tree.
In fact, the chair was installedthere as the General Secretary had visited it a few months ago and said thatlarge trees should be planted in the Minigolf Course to provide shade and manychairs be placed under them so that people can sit and have a rest in the shadeunder them.
He sat down on the chair with satisfactionand had a talk with the accompanying officials. And suddenly he stopped talkingand looked round the circular chair.
Looking down at the floor andpressing down on the seat with his hand, he tried to guess something for awhile and said to the officials that as he sat on the chair, it seemed to be abit low.
When an official came to the chairand sat on it, the respected General Secretary studied his sitting position andsaid that the chair had to be raised a little.
No one had ever paid attention tothat ordinary chair.
But the respected GeneralSecretary, who is always mindful of the people’s convenience before anythingelse, saw the slightest inconvenience that people would feel.
Later, the height of all chairsfixed in the Rungna People’s Recreation Ground was adjusted and officialskeenly realized how they had to work for the people.
