On September 28, 2018, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Kim Chaek University of Technology to congratulate its teachers and researchers on its 70th birthday and have a photo taken with them.
After having a photo session, he warmly took the hands of the merited educators standing in the front row and moved to a place where he could see all the teachers and researchers, and made a deep bow again and again to them.
Whenever he met during his field guidance teachers of the university who had contributed to the modernization of the national economy, he highly praised them for their achievements and had a photo taken with them.
Saying that Kim Chaek University of Technology is playing its part in every sector and unit of socialist economic construction, he bestowed on the university an honourable title as a core sci-tech force faithfully supporting the Party’s plans and intentions with its practical sci-tech achievements both in name and reality, and as an engine leading the national economy.
His love and benevolence did not stop here.
He ensured that apartment houses were built for the teachers of the university on the banks of the picturesque Taedong River and modern apartment houses in Mirae Scientists Street were provided to them before anyone else.
As if all this was not enough, he visited the university and made a deep bow to them.
