DPRK players returned home after taking part in the 2026 KonstantinKorotkov International Boxing Tournament held in Khabarovsk of Russia.
The tournament brought together more than 160 men and women players fromover 20 countries including the DPRK, China and Mongolia. DPRK players baggedtwo gold medals, one silver medal and four bronze medals in the tournament.
Kim Un Ok and Paek Jin Hyang came first in the women's 50kg and 54kgcategories.
Son Su Rim came second in the women's 60kg category and O Tae Bom, So ChonRyong, Jang Thae Song and Pak Sin A respectively came third in the men's 60kg,54kg and 48kg categories and the women's 66kg category.
The prize of the best woman boxing coach was conferred on Kim Chol San andthe prize of the best woman boxer on Kim Un Ok.
The players were greeted byofficials in the field of sports, sportspersons and families at PyongyangInternational Airport on April 27.
